taken from the recent botanical literature. Systems simulated include:
1. Light attenuation by plant canopy
2. Near ground temperature profiles
3. Spruce stand temperature profiles
4. Photosynthesis and radiation
5. Leaf acidity & time of day
6. C4 and C3 photosynthesis
7. Carbohydrate storage in Vaccinium
8. Ranunculus CO2 assim. & temperature
9. Resp. & temp. in oak and beech
10. Frost exposure & photosynthesis in fir
11. Light intensity & photosynthesis
12. Ranunculus leaf area & light levels
13. Dark respiration & altitude
14. Cold pretreatment & budbreak
15. Gas exchange & temperature in 4 species
16. Frost resistance in Vaccinium
17. Soil depth & daily temperature
18. Soil depth & annual temperature
19. Moisture and photosynthesis/resp.
20. Saltwater & seed germination

Plant Biology Data Simulation

Algal Growth Simulation
(Program No. 100-32)
for WINDOWS (NT, 98, Me, Xp)
$ 39.95
Program simulates effects of nitrates, phosphate, turbidity, pH,
temperature, ammonia, alkalinity, and light on the growth of algae. In addition, periphyton photosynthesis is simulated under different temperatures, different CO2 levels, and for 'light-adapted' and 'shade- adapted' communities. Same format as other simulations, but does not include 25 different systems. |
