This software is designed to simulate the experience of taking quadrat
samples. The user has control over the number of items (10-1000), number of
samples to be taken, quadrat size, number of item clumps (e.g. there are two
in the screen shown below), and the clump space, which allows for a variety of
dispersion patterns. Resampling (100 times) is easily done, and the user
gets to see how 'bootstrap' confidence intervals are determined.
